Stella (Kim Chiu) worries about Vincent (Paulo Avelino) after hearing the news of his termination in the April 21 episode of “The Alibi.”
At the bar, Mona (Alma Moreno) calls Stella’s attention to show her the announcement of Vincent’s termination from the Cabrera Group of Companies. Mona notices how worry immediately washes over Stella’s face. “Diba wala na kayo ni Vincent?” she asks.
Stella conveys that something seems suspicious about the announcement. “Parang may mali na sa mga nangyayari,” she says, but Mona urges her not to think about it anymore and to let Vincent solve his own problems.
On the other hand, the guards force Vincent to leave the premises immediately as ordered by Arthur (John Arcilla). Moments later, Vincent carries out his office supplies and makes his way out of the building, with some employees watching him. One staff member approaches him and expresses her disappointment, adding how much he has broken their trust.
While most of the employees voice their sentiments, Vincent remains quiet and continues to walk. When he accidentally slips, a few of his belongings fall to the ground. Just as he is about to reach for them, someone comes to help him, and it is Stella. Her sudden appearance surprises Vincent, as Stella had previously cut things off with him.
