Vincent (Paulo Avelino) is determined to save Cabrera News in the April 20 episode of “The Alibi.”
During a meeting in the conference room, Vincent overhears the staff complaining about several problems. He asks more about their concerns, and the employees express their worries about the company’s future and how it will affect their jobs. Investors have pulled out, advertisers refuse to work with them, and Walter’s (Sam Milby) death has further shaken the company.
They continue to lay out their problems and ask Vincent what is really happening. “We are not closing,” Vincent affirms. He acknowledges that while they are currently facing challenges, their jobs will remain secure and will not be put at risk, and he promises to do everything to save Cabrera News.
“Ilalaban ko ‘to hanggang dulo. Telling the truth is not just our job; it’s our purpose,” Vincent adds, determined to fight for them. While still wary, his words somehow ease the worries of his colleagues.
