Arthur (John Arcilla) kicks Vincent (Paulo Avelino) out of their company in the April 21 episode of “The Alibi.”
After learning about the ongoing anomalies in their business, Arthur calls for a board meeting on short notice, with Claudia (Sofia Andres), Jacqueline (Zsa Zsa Padilla), and Matthew (Rafael Rosell) present as well, and the board members quickly lay every problem out.
Jacqueline initially thought they were all referring to Matthew, since Vincent had informed her about the large amount of money he had been stealing from them. However, all the allegations point to Vincent instead, leaving Jacqueline shocked.
As the members vote to oust Vincent, Jacqueline disagrees, but Arthur only tells her to calm down. Only Jacqueline and Claudia refuse to side with the rest of the board. Meanwhile, Vincent conducts a meeting with his colleagues to strategize on how they can improve Cabrera News for the audiences. However, his attention shifts seeing the guards suddenly come to his office and begin packing up all his belongings.
Confused, Arthur arrives and confronts him, “The board has decided to terminate you immediately,” he declares, explaining the reasons, such as backhanded deals and the leaking of confidential documents. Vincent protests, insisting that there is no evidence to prove the allegations. However, Arthur shows him CCTV footage of him going through confidential files. Vincent tries to convince Arthur, but Arthur refuses to listen and walks out on him.
