To maintain their image of influence and privilege, the Cabrera family has built a reputation that revolves heavily around business. In public, they are admired and sometimes envied, but beneath this façade lie conflicts and mysteries that even wealth cannot resolve and that sometimes make situations worse.
When the cameras stop rolling, however, we see a different side—the real, authentic, and fun-loving Cabreras. From immersing themselves in their characters to finding joy in between takes, these behind-the-scenes moments from “The Alibi” offer a refreshing break from the drama.
On her Instagram page, Zsa Zsa Padilla, who plays Jacqueline, posted candid snaps from the set. Joining her in the stills were Rafael Rosell (as Matthew), John Arcilla (as Arthur), and Robbie Jaworski (as Edward), all captured in lighthearted moments alongside Zsa Zsa.
In another slide, the four were seen enjoying a helicopter ride, capturing their arrival at the resort to celebrate Arthur’s birthday. In her caption, Zsa Zsa wrote, “Meet my dysfunctional family—the Cabreras!” showing fans that despite the tension surrounding them in the series, good times were very much alive behind the scenes.

Rafael Rosell, who portrays the deceitful Matthew Cabrera, also shared his own point of view during breaks through a series of photos. One shot showed him focused and preparing for touch-ups before filming kicked off.
A spare shot caught Rafael with Zsa Zsa Padilla while filming the scene where Stella (Kim Chiu) forcefully confessed her relationship with Vincent (Paulo Avelino) in front of the media. Jacqueline then rushes in to clear things up, firm and composed, even as Matthew tries to stop her.

As the nights unfold, revelations continue to unravel, and one of the most shocking twists is Claudia and Matthew’s secret alliance to take down Vincent. Prior to the show’s premiere, Sofia Andres, who breathes life into Claudia, teased fans with a fierce photo alongside Rafael, hinting at the explosive pact viewers would soon witness.

These cheerful moments on set remind us that the cast’s portrayal of their characters feels so immersive that it’s as if they are pulling us into an alternate world. Beyond the drama, they also prove that the bond they share off-camera adds authenticity to the emotions we see onscreen.
