Patrick (Joshua Garcia)'s usual guardedness slips away beneath the alcohol's haze. Mia (Anne Curtis) smiles, teasing that if this is just a preview of his relaxed side, then she definitely wants to see the full version, to which Patrick quips that what she’s getting is only the trial version.
He says he'll just give her a freebie and then asks Mia to close her eyes for a surprise, which excites her, half-expecting it to be something she could playfully "use in bed." Instead, Patrick pulls out a small handmade doll from his bag and introduces it as Satsat, a little companion he says can help guard her from nightmares.
Patrick explains that Matmat (Carlo Aquino) also used to wake up in the middle of the night so often, so he stitched the doll himself to make his brother feel that they have a companion, almost like a sibling, hence the doll's name.
Mia smiles as she gazes at the doll, touched by the thoughtfulness behind the gesture. She doesn’t stop Patrick anymore as he heads upstairs and into the room he shares with Matmat to finally get some rest.
