At OK Hospital, Patrick (Joshua Garcia) drops by the clinic of Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz), who greets him with playful teasing about whether Mia (Anne Curtis) is already his girlfriend as news about him and Matmat (Carlo Aquino) living with her in the mansion spread through the facility. Patrick denies any romantic involvement, and then Doc Anok brings up a report from Nurse Patty (Alyssa Muhlach) that patient Elvie (Sharmaine Suarez) had been following Mia before fainting the other day. Patrick admits that Mia had already confided in him, insisting that she did nothing wrong except tell Elvie that her mother had already passed away.
Doc Anok can’t resist poking fun at Patrick for being trusted with such a personal revelation as it says a lot about his closeness with Mia. He then explains how it isn’t surprising that Elvie might see Mia as her daughter and, in turn, Mia see her as a mother, because people often look for those they’ve lost. From there, Doc Anok shares what he knows about Mia’s own mother, Ingrid (Empress Schuck), who vanished after publishing her book “Ang Pagpatay sa Mahiwagang Bruha.” According to Doc Anok, Ingrid was reported missing and was eventually declared dead after seven years of searching.
Curious, Patrick asks if any relatives or staff were left at the mansion when Mia’s father, Samuel (Michael de Mesa), was admitted to OK Hospital. Doc Anok replies that to his knowledge, no one else lived there except Mia, who had personally brought her father to the facility. This leads Patrick to silently question Mang Dipong, the supposed caretaker who warned him about Ingrid’s return, though he chooses not to mention this detail to Doc Anok for now.
The scene cuts to a flashback of Doc Anok questioning Samuel about his family, to which Samuel cryptically remarked that “too much love is not love.” Back in the present, Doc Anok reviews Samuel’s profile and is left wondering what really happened to his family.
