Stella (Kim Chiu) notices Vincent (Paulo Avelino) staring at her in the March 18 episode of “The Alibi.”
Their first long interaction takes place by the shore, after which Stella and Vincent part ways. Not long after, Stella sees Vincent about to leave the resort premises. Seizing the opportunity, she hops into his car for a ride since she cannot get a taxi inside.
Stella urges Vincent to drive off immediately, and he complies. For her own safety, she quickly snaps a photo with him. Vincent panics at first, but Stella explains that she intends to send it to her friends just in case something bad happens to her.
During the car ride, Vincent cannot help but stare at Stella, who is busy on her phone. Sensing that Vincent has been looking at her for too long, she says, “Gusto mo yung nakikita mo, ‘no?” snapping him back to his senses. Not liking the silence between them, Stella turns on the car stereo for some music. When Vincent notices part of her clothing ripped, he asks, “Ano nangyari sa’yo?”
Stella quickly replies that it is nothing. “Ano ba, close ba tayo para magkwentuhan?” she adds, prompting Vincent to apologize. As they continue driving, Vincent notices a number of police vehicles heading toward the resort, sending him into a quiet panic. He later drops Stella off, who thanks him before they go their separately.
