Mia (Anne Curtis) joins Matmat (Carlo Aquino) as he watches his dinosaur cartoon and blurts out that she dislikes Trexy the talking dinosaur, calling him annoying since all he ever does is stir trouble in the household. Instead, she says she prefers Mang Junior, whom she finds more admirable.
To her surprise, Matmat agrees. He likes Mang Junior too, seeing him as a protector of the younger dinosaurs Buboy, Chacha, and even Trexy, the same way he constantly watches over his younger brother Patpat (Joshua Garcia). Proudly, Matmat shares that as the older sibling, he scolded Patpat and told him to apologize to the man he had punched at OK Hospital that morning.
Delighted by their similarities, Mia declares that they are now best friends. Matmat’s face lights up with happiness, hardly believing that someone as popular as Mia has chosen him as a friend, when not long ago his only companion had been his small stuffed toy, Dino Boy.
Their bonding moment is cut short, however, when Patrick enters the scene to remind Matmat to take a shower. This makes Mia storm off in frustration, still sulking over the fact that their "vacation" did not push through.
