Instead of sulking over his 10-day suspension imposed by Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz), Patrick (Joshua Garcia) walks out of the hospital wearing an uncharacteristically wide smile. Outside, he spots Mia (Anne Curtis) alone in the garden. Mia can’t help but question how he still manages to beam amid the mess he’s in. Seizing the moment, Patrick surprises her by asking if she would run away with him, just as what she once told him that she would leave everything behind if he ever asked.
But as they take on the road, with Mia driving her car, she notices Patrick’s smile slowly fading into worry. Mia grows frustrated, realizing that his idea of escape is nowhere near hers. To her, it means leaving the country, but Patrick doesn’t even have a passport as he and Matmat (Carlo Aquino) never considered it a priority. She then suggests going outside Maravida, but Patrick turns it down as well because he cannot stay overnight away from Matmat.
Unable to get her way, Mia’s reckless streak takes over. In anger, she slams her foot on the gas, driving faster and threatening to send them both crashing off the bridge. Patrick is shown hilariously terrified as the car screeches to a halt, narrowly avoiding disaster.
Mia, however, is dead serious. In her spiteful defiance, she orders Patrick out of the car and leaves him to walk alone on the road. Overcome with frustration, Mia heads to a bar and drowns her anger in a drink. She vents it out on the dartboard, fiercely throwing darts as if Patrick’s face were her target. Perfect bull’s-eye.
