After getting involved in a commotion with a guest at OK Hospital while defending Mia (Anne Curtis), Patrick (Joshua Garcia) finds himself summoned to the office of Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz). Alongside Nurse Olivia (Maricel Laxa) and Nurse Eden (Agot Isidro), the doctor reprimands him for violating hospital rules and says that Jerome’s family threatens to press charges against him, prompting the nurses to encourage him to apologize. Patrick, however, refuses.
As a result, Doc Anok imposes a 10-day suspension without pay, explaining that he had no choice since this was Patrick’s second incident in the hospital, the first being his altercation with Cong. Martinez (Leo Rialp) after talking back to him over Junjun (Albie Casino)'s case.
But Patrick is unusually happy about the suspension. He walks out of Doc Anok's office wearing an uncharacteristically wide smile. Outside, he spots Mia alone in the garden. Mia can’t help but question how he still manages to beam amid the mess he’s in. Seizing the moment, Patrick surprises her by asking if she would run away with him, just as what she once told him that she would leave everything behind if he ever asked.
