Chaos breaks out at OK Hospital when Jerome, Bella’s (Bianca De Vera) abusive ex-boyfriend and the root of her depression and anxiety, suddenly storms inside, his aggression escalating as he grabs Bella by the neck and forces her to leave with him.
Hearing the commotion, Mia (Anne Curtis) rushes to defend Bella but only to be slapped hard by Jerome, sending her crashing to the ground. Just as Jerome is about to hit her again, Patrick (Joshua Garcia) arrives and punches him repeatedly. Consumed by rage, Patrick nearly loses control until Matmat (Carlo Aquino) arrives at the scene to remind him that violence never makes things right.
Patrick regains his composure and quickly checks on Mia, who had picked up a large stone during her fall, intending to use it against Jerome if no one came to her aid. But now, with Patrick protecting her, she lets it go, realizing she no longer needs it because her safety pin is there.
Patrick is then reprimanded by Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz), Nurse Olivia (Maricel Laxa), and Nurse Eden (Agot Isidro) for breaking hospital rules, and is informed that Jerome’s family threatens to press charges against him, prompting the nurses to encourage him to apologize. Patrick, however, refuses.
As a result, Doc Anok imposes a 10-day suspension without pay, explaining that he had no choice since this was Patrick’s second incident in the hospital, the first being his altercation with Cong. Martinez (Leo Rialp) after talking back to him over Junjun (Albie Casino)'s case.
Gemma (Kaori Oinuma) is left in disbelief at Patrick’s suspension and urges him once more to apologize, but Patrick tells her he’s fine with it and that it's his choice. Jealousy eats away at Gemma as she realizes how far Patrick is willing to go for Mia.
In the lobby, Patrick is met by Bella, who feels guilty that the incident happened because of her ex-boyfriend. Kai (Louise Abuel) also thanks him, saying Bella could have been seriously harmed if not for his intervention. Mang Tommy (Bodjie Pascua) jokingly calls him an action star, to which Patrick responds with a smile, assuring Bella that he hasn’t lost his job, only been suspended.
Meanwhile, Cynthia (Alora Sasam) observes that unlike others who have been suspended, Patrick seems unusually happy about it.
