Patrick (Joshua Garcia) receives a 10-day suspension from work after defending Mia (Anne Curtis), who bore the brunt of Bella (Bianca De Vera)'s ex-boyfriend’s rage. His instinct to protect her led him to strike the man repeatedly, which cost him his job temporarily.
Though everything seems to spiral into chaos, Patrick accepts his suspension and even entertains the thought of taking a short break with Mia. But their idea of escape proves worlds apart—Mia longs to leave Maravida, perhaps even the country, while Patrick cannot abandon Matmat (Carlo Aquino). Frustrated, Mia lashes out, forcing Patrick out of her car and leaving him on the road.
Returning to the mansion, Patrick stumbles upon Mang Dipong who came in early to fix the water pipes. Stunned, Patrick stops upon hearing the sound of Dipong humming a tune, identical to the one Samuel (Michael De Mesa) once heard sung by a mysterious woman at the facility. When Patrick asks, Dipong reveals it was Ingrid (Empress Schuck)'s favorite song, something she used to sing often. The detail unsettles Patrick.
He walks away as if lost in thought, while Dipong slips into his own haunting memory of the last time he saw Ingrid. A flashback shows him witnessing Ingrid emerging from the river one night, clad in a blood-soaked white dress. He approached her out of worry but she suddenly attacked like a beast, clawing his face with her long nails, which explains his scar.
Back in the present, Dipong wonders where Ingrid might be now.
