Eden (Agot Isidro) discovers that Olivia (Maricel Laxa) has been trying to take over her patient, Samuel (Michael De Mesa), and has even formally requested it from Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz).
She assumes Olivia is doing it on purpose, fueled by their rivalry as contenders for the Nurse Manager post. Olivia, however, insists that she simply believes she can manage Samuel better, especially since his recovery might not be full if he grows too accustomed to Eden. But Eden pushes back, asserting that Samuel has been showing steady progress under her care.
Before things spiral further, and with neither nurse willing to give way, Doc Anok calls them both into his office to make the final decision. Eden suggests they could handle Samuel together, but Doc Anok clarifies that he prefers only one nurse to take charge—for accountability and to avoid confusion within their teams.
The tension eases into comedy when Doc Anok reveals his chosen method of settling the matter: a draw lots. The scene becomes even funnier as he heightens the suspense in announcing the name he picked until he reveals that it’s Olivia.
