MANILA — ABS-CBN has clarified why the series "What Lies Beneath" will premiere ahead of schedule this October.
During the media conference for What Lies Beneath on Monday, Kane Errol Choa, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, addressed viewer questions about the programming change.
“As previously announced, the launch of 'Roja' has been moved to November because of the weather conditions affecting our production schedule. However, 'What Lies Beneath' is ready to air, and we’re excited to bring this series to all our audiences,” Choa said, emphasizing the network’s commitment to deliver high-quality entertainment despite scheduling adjustments.
"So whether it's 'What Lies Beneath' or any other titles, you can be assured that our intention and our priority is always to bring high quality entertainment to all our audiences," he added.

Last week, ABS-CBN Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment announced that the launch of "Roja" has been moved to November "due to recent inclement weather conditions affecting our production schedule."
Starring Janella Salvador, Sue Ramirez, Kaila Estrada, and Charlie Dizon, the new thriller drama "What Lies Beneath" is about friendship, truth, and the dark secrets that test their bond.
"What Lies Beneath" will debut October 17 on Netflix, October 18 on iWant, and October 20 on Kapamilya Online Live, Kapamilya Channel, A2Z and TV5.
