Kapamilya actresses Sue Ramirez, Janella Salvador, Charlie Dizon, and Kaila Estrada shared how their chemistry as a group played a big role in their upcoming series, What Lies Beneath. During the media conference for the highly-anticipated show earlier this week, the four lead actresses revealed the bond they had made with each other while making the series.
What Lies Beneath will also star Jake Cuenca, JM de Guzman, Race Matias, Jameson Blake, and Yves Flores.

Despite the thriller-drama concept of the new show, the four actresses admitted how light and easy it was working with one another. Sue added how different it is to be on set with the people you consider your friends even behind the cameras.
“Napakahirap pag kaibigan mo yung mga ka eksena mo. Grabe, pag kaming apat na magkakasama–– you can ask our directors–– sumasakit yung ulo nila sa amin… Tawa kami ng tawa. It just goes to show how much we enjoy what we’re doing, how excited we are to be together and actually do scenes together. I’m so happy to be working with all of these girls,” Sue shared.
Janella then added how they were all a support system to each other and complimented Sue, Charlie, and Kaila for their acting prowess.
“Talagang nagbabatuhan kami ng energy. Ang sarap sarap pala na nag susuportahan kami, na magagaling lahat ng kasama mo. Nag flo-flow lang ng maganda yung emotions, yung energy. Ang sarap makaeksena yung tatlong ‘to kahit na mahirap,” Janella maintained.

Charlie and Kaila both expressed how they found strength in each other while they were doing the difficult scenes as well.
“Kapag umabot na kami sa mga mahihirap na eksena, pagod na kaming lahat, kami rin yung nagkakapit. Yun yung sobrang proud ako,” Charlie revealed.
“It’s a very supportive energy lalo na samin apat. I feel like makikita ng mga tao yung chemistry talaga namin apat. Maniniwala talaga sila na magkakabarkada kami or childhood [friends] kami kasi parang ganun yung pakiramdam,” Kaila continued.
What Lies Beneath is set to premiere on Netflix this coming October 17 and will be shown on iWant on October 18. What Lies Beneath is also available on the Kapamilya Online Live, Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5 starting this October 20.
