Meet Cignal's newest import, Katrin Trebichavska. PVL Media Bureau
RODRIGUEZ, Rizal — Katrin Trebichavska is looking to pounce on the opportunity of playing with the Cignal Super Spikers in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
Trebichavska, a Slovak outside hitter, said she wanted to suit up in the PVL "in the beginning of the season," however, "it just didn't work out."
Now that she had this second chance with Cignal, the former SUNY Buffalo Bulls standout said she had no doubts on joining them, saying she's "a hundred percent" on board.
"I actually wanted to come to Philippines in the beginning of the season, but it just didn't work out. Then when this opportunity came up, I was like, yes 100%, I'm coming," said Trebichavska.

"I don't know, that's it, I thought it was a great opportunity and it was really good actually," she also said. "There was no question, I was like okay, I'm going, now I'm here."
The newest Super Spiker had nothing but positives as she vibed with her new team, saying she wants to "win everything from now on."
"My goals are to win everything we can starting from now on and enjoy the rest of the season with the team. They're amazing and I really love all of them and I just want to be as happy with them winning everything and doing our best together."
Trebichavska was the replacement of Greek Eva Chantava, who was booted out due to Cignal's winless start in two games.
Meanwhile, coach Shaq delos Santos and On Tour MVP Erika Santos only had praises for their new reinforcement.
"Siguro sa 'min sa teammates niya, nakakatulong siya kasi parang factor yung light na mood niya at explosive siya, so nacha-challenge din kami. Thankful kami kasi na-share niya yung experience niya sa 'min," said Santos.
"Ako 'yung first day pa lang na na-meet ko siya sa training, nakita ko 'yung adrenaline, 'yung pagiging aggressive. Jolly and of course, athletic. Hopefully, maka-adjust and maibigay rin namin yung kailangan niya. For sure kasi, mabibigay niya kung ano 'yung kailangan ng team," said Delos Santos.
