MANILA — Anna DeBeer's stellar showing powered Zus Coffee past Creamline, 25-27, 25-17, 25-20, 25-22, in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference on Thursday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
DeBeer helped her team keep their perfect record at 3-0, while dealing the reigning titlists' second loss in Pool B.
The American import registered whopping 37-point output on 35 attacks and two blocks to go with 15 excellent receptions, earning Player of the Game honors by drawing inspiration from her mom Sara, who flew to watch her game.

Sitting on a 2-1 lead in the fourth frame, the Thunderbelles overcame a late Creamline onslaught as they tore down a narrow 19-17 lead, unleashing an 8-3 finishing blitz highlighted by DeBeer and AC Miner's hits en route to the win.
Miner followed suit in the Zus Coffee scoring with 13 points, as Clo Mondonedo tallied 25 excellent sets to anchor the offense.
Zus Coffee coach Jerry Yee was happy to see her players step up, but he still emphasized that the team still has a lot to "work on."
"Masaya, happy. So masaya siyempre nage-execute tayo pero ano ako eh, nakikita ko ‘yung mga lapses pa, ‘yung kailangan itrabaho," he said.
"Mga first contact namin pangit eh, first ball, service, may mga errors kami na marami-rami. We’ll try to address those," he added.
On the other hand, the balanced Creamline scoring led by reinforcement Courtney Schwan was down the drain as they dropped to 2-2.
Schwan had 18 points, Alyssa Valdez had 13 points, Pangs Panaga and Tots Carlos delivered 11 points each, and Michele Gumabao supplied with 10 points in the loss.
