As Gabo (Coco Martin) and his friends were already preoccupied by their mission in Binondo, his mortal nemesis, Django (Jhong Hilario), on the other hand, was busy reminding his minions that they were expected to turn over a huge amount of money by the end of the day, taking advantage of the heavy crowds brought by the Chinese New Year celebrations in Manila.
His mood quickly soured after learning that three of his former followers—Daboy (Mammoth Estroso), Binoy (Nikko Natividad), and Tolits (Jerald Napoles)—had abandoned him to join Gabo. It instantly enraged Django, convinced that Gabo is steadily building up his force by recruiting more people.
Django's temper flared even further when his father's most trusted right-hand man, Romy (Val Iglesias), raised the possibility of Gabo and his group eventually taking control of Ginintuang Lupa. Refusing to let his rival gain the upper hand, Django vowed that Gabo would not get the upper hand anymore in their next confrontation.
