After handing over the attaché cases filled with gold and claiming the P100,000 reward that Paps (Joonee Gamboa) had promised him for successfully completing his mission, Gabo (Coco Martin) quickly drove to the hospital to deliver the money that would finally cover the cost of his father Rudy's (Joey Marquez) much-needed surgery.
Betchay was overwhelmed with relief and gratitude as Gabo fulfilled his promise to find a way to raise money as quickly as possible. As they waited anxiously outside the operating room, Uncle Dante (Julio Diaz) thanked Gabo for everything he had done, to which Gabo responded, "Hindi ko po hahayaan na may mangyari pong masama sa tatay ko. Napakatagal naming hindi nagkasama kaya gagawin ko ang lahat para lang mabuhay siya."
Curious about how he managed to come up with such a large amount, Betchay quizzed Gabo about how he managed to get that huge amount urgently. He simply replied that someone had asked him to retrieve something, and the rest was already none of his concern. As Betchay continued pressing him for answers, Mameng stepped in and reminded her that what truly mattered was that Gabo had found the money, and Rudy had already undergone surgery.
Moments later, the attending doctor went out of the operating room to inform them that the operation had been successful, and all they had to do now was wait for Rudy to regain consciousness.
At the Anino hideout, meanwhile, Paps, Omeng (Dindo Arroyo), and Tomas (Levi Ignacio) discussed Gabo's integrity and the honesty that he had displayed in the face of temptation. Having successfully passed Anino's loyalty test, Paps firmly believes that Gabo is finally ready for greater and more challenging missions ahead.
