After Rudy's (Joey Marquez) life was once again put in danger as his family still couldn't afford the life-saving operation he desperately needed, Gabo (Coco Martin) became even more determined to find a way to earn money as quickly as possible.
The attending doctor warned Gabo that the longer Rudy's surgery was delayed, the more critical his condition would become. Should he suffer another episode like the one he had just endured, there was a chance they would no longer be able to save her.
The doctor's grim prognosis only heightened the family's sense of urgency. Betchay (Irma Adlawan) reminded Gabo that time was running out if they wanted to save Rudy's life. Stressing that they desperately needed money for the operation, she broke down in frustration.
Mameng (Ces Quesada), however, immediately came to Gabo's defense, insisting that he had already been doing everything he could to shoulder Rudy's mounting medical expenses. She questioned why Betchay kept placing the entire burden on him.
Overwhelmed by desperation, Betchay fired back, asking who else they could possibly turn to when no one else was willing to help them. Gabo declared, "Huwag kayong mag-alala. Hindi ako babalik dito nang wala akong pera."
With that promise, he walked away, determined to do whatever it took to save his father's life.
