Aside from insulting his newfound friends Tolits (Jerald Napoles), Binoy (Nikko Natividad), and Daboy (Mammoth Estroso)—who tried to help him raise money for the medical expenses of his father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), by working as macho dancers—Gabo’s (Coco Martin) frustration toward the gay bar patrons who hired him as their hosto or male entertainer further intensified when they began making unwanted advances toward him.
The customers started touching his arms and legs, which made Gabo uncomfortable as he repeatedly resisted their attempts. Despite telling them that he was not the kind of person they assumed him to be, the leader of the group, Mama Franny (John “Sweet” Lapus), continued making advances until his hand reached Gabo’s chest. This prompted an enraged Gabo to lash out and assault the three customers, shocking everyone and causing chaos inside the bar.
It wasn’t only Gabo who experienced harassment that night, but also his friend Tekla (Sue Ramirez). Fortunately, she was strong and tough enough to defend herself from the male bar employees who tried to hit on her through lewd comments and unwanted advances.
As the furious customers threatened to file charges against them, bar manager Mama Grace (Janice Jurado) advised Gabo and his group to leave immediately.
