With no one to turn to for help, Tolits (Jerald Napoles) and Binoy (Nikko Natividad)—two of the newest additions to their group—suggested resorting to robbery, proposing that they hold up public transportation, target establishments, or snatch valuables from other people in order to obtain easy money.
Gabo (Coco Martin), however, strongly rejected the idea. Determined to stay true to his principles, he also remained committed to the promise he made to his father—that now that he had regained his freedom, he would never allow himself to end up behind bars again.
Desperate to raise money for Rudy's mounting medical expenses, Gabo and his friends instead swallowed their pride and turned to begging, asking passersby and churchgoers for any amount of financial assistance.
Meanwhile, Betchay (Irma Adlawan) and Mameng (Ces Quesada) figured in another heated argument after Mameng defended Gabo against Betchay's snide remarks. Insisting that Gabo had not changed, Betchay claimed there was a strong possibility that he and his friends would eventually resort to committing a crime.
