Benny (Nico Antonio) and Lydia (Nikki Valdez) accept Marcus’ (Richard Gutierrez) negotiated arrangement that would allow one Task Force Alpha member to provide first aid assistance to a wounded Japanese tourist inside the bus, but then the situation becomes worse.
While carrying a small first aid kit that includes a handgun as a safety measure, Allan (Gerald Anderson) carefully takes off a few pieces from his tactical gear before approaching the hostage-controlled bus. However, just as he moves closer, Felix (Baron Geisler) pushes the button in Lara’s (Bela Padilla) hands, setting off a huge explosion.
The entire group of Japanese tourists, including Benny and Lydia, instantly perished due to the powerful explosion and the flames resulting from it. Within the area, Allan is hurled by the blast wave, leaving him unconscious on the ground.
A few moments later, Marcus urgently calls for Allan, who is still unresponsive but retains memories of his childhood during a maritime accident. When Marcus finally spots him and speaks of comforting words as he checks Allan’s vitals, Allan suddenly raises his hand.
Marcus holds onto Allan’s outstretched hand and turns puzzled the second Allan sluggishly mentions his older brother. Following that, Marcus carries Allan to safety with Liam (Albie Casiño) by his side.
How will Task Force Alpha cope with the tragedy? Find out in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8:45 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
