In the aftermath of Director Azuelo’s (Rommel Padilla) public statement about Yulo and Valdez, known to be the corrupt officers working for syndicates that used Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) as their fall guy, Allan (Gerald Anderson) and Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) speak more about their suspicions.
For Allan, Yulo’s and Valdez’s interrogations seemed too quick and neatly done. Marcus then agrees and suggests that it could have been scripted.
In response to the possibility of a set-up, both Allan and Marcus identify General Carillo (Bodjie Pascua) as the only individual they believe to be the mastermind of the corrupt and destructive practices inside and outside NLEA.
Marcus points out that if it truly is General Carillo, that would imply they have a formidable opponent, who currently possesses powerful connections and influence in NLEA. Allan also mentions the general’s intelligence, which is capable of deceiving them at any moment.
In the context of uncovering General Carillo’s weaknesses and accomplices, Allan discloses his distrust for Lara (Bela Padilla), the adoptive daughter of the general. Marcus makes clear that he is still currently observing Lara but was reluctant to doubt her entirely due to their friendship.
Ultimately, it would be impossible if Lara had no awareness regarding the general’s cruel schemes. Allan then feels that the conflict may have been bigger than they originally thought, with Marcus declaring that their battle is just beginning.
Will Marcus and Allan prove General Carillo’s deceitfulness? Find out in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8:45 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
