Stella (Kim Chiu) assures Katherine (Angelina Cruz) and Joseph (Enzo Osorio) that she will always take care of them in the April 6 episode of “The Alibi.”
While eating breakfast at the table, Stella reminds Joseph to take care of his health. As she shares the meal with them, she receives a phone call from Mona (Alma Moreno), who is stressed out by the number of press waiting for Stella outside the bar. Stella takes the situation lightly, but Mona warns her and expresses her disgust before abruptly ending the call.
Confusion draws on Stella’s face as she notices Katherine and Joseph staring at her. “Mag-resign ka na kaya, Ate. Hanap ka ng ibang raket,” Katherine suggests. She insists further, even asking Stella to let her help with the finances through job opportunities. “Marami namang nagsasabay ng pag-aaral at trabaho,” she adds.
Stella dismisses Katherine’s idea, “Hindi kayo pinanganak sa mundong ‘to para alagaan kaming mas nakakatanda sa inyo. Kaya mag-focus lang kayo sa school. Kumpyansa lang, hindi ko kayo pababayaan.” She tells them that she will do everything to meet their needs.
Katherine then shifts the conversation to Vincent (Paulo Avelino), “Eh yung boyfriend mo? ‘Di ka niya pababayaan? Paano kung killer nga siya?” Stella reiterates that, just like her, Vincent has gone through a lot, “Para sa isang taong buong buhay niya hinuhusgahan, sino ba naman ako para manghusga ng iba?” Katherine questions how much love Stella has for Vincent to allow him to drag her into his mess, but Stella refuses to answer.
