The truth about Stella's (Kim Chiu) connection with Walter (Sam Milby) starts to unveil in the April 6 episode of “The Alibi.”
Exhausted from work and the stress of Vincent's (Paulo Avelino) case, Stella reflects on what is currently happening in her life. As she prepares for bed, she removes her makeup—her lipstick stain suddenly reminding her of something.
The flashback takes us to the night Walter died. After his encounter with Vincent, Walter receives another visitor, and this time, it’s Stella. Delighted by her presence, Walter approaches her. “Di mo ba ako namiss? Sabi mo dati, diba, mahal mo ako?” he asks. But instead of affection, he is met with her fury.
Stella screams about how much she regrets getting involved with Walter. She then begins to hit him, but Walter tries to stop her and even attempts to kiss her. Stella fights back even harder, striking him until he loses consciousness. This lingering memory ignites an uneasy feeling within her.
As panic sets in, Stella notices her anklet, one of its pendants having fallen off during her heated argument with Walter that night. Norman (Marvin Yap) and Ricardo (Ian De Leon) keep looking into things, noticing the lipstick stain on Walter's fingers in the crime scene photos. This evidence could point to Stella’s possible involvement in the case.
