Claudia (Sofia Andres) confesses her affair with Walter (Sam Milby), strengthening the claim that Vincent (Paulo Avelino) killed him in the April 1 episode of “The Alibi.”
During Stella’s (Kim Chiu) interrogation with the authorities, the session is abruptly cut short when Claudia suddenly enters the room, carrying Bea’s (Ayesha Bajeta) stuffed toy—inside which she discovered a hidden camera. “May dapat kayong malaman tungkol sa asawa ko,” Claudia tells the police, leaving Stella in shock.
Ricardo (Ian de Leon) then speaks with Claudia one-on-one, asking about her purpose. Claudia detailed the teddy bear and the camera affixed to it. She explained that Vincent had given the toy to Bea, and she believed he had used it to keep tabs on her. When asked why Vincent would do such a thing, Claudia reveals, “To prove that I was having an affair with Walter.”
Claudia also confirms to Ricardo that she was involved in a secret relationship with Walter. “Vincent neglected me, at si Walter ang sumalo sa akin. Natukso ako, I was vulnerable. May nangyari sa amin.” She adds that the video recorded by the hidden camera was most likely kept securely by Vincent. “So bago pa namatay si Walter, alam na ni Vincent na may nangyayari sa inyong dalawa?”
This pushes Ricardo to speculate further, making him even more convinced that Vincent killed Walter. Claudia also admits that Vincent saw her and Walter together in his villa the night before Walter died, a reason why her fingerprints were found inside the premises. She admits it is not easy to confess to having an affair behind her husband’s back.
Ricardo then asks how he can be certain Claudia is not the one behind Walter’s death. Claudia responds, “We made love that night. Paano mo sasabihin na ako ang pumatay?” She affirms this, recalling the steamy moments she shared with Walter before his death. “Takot na takot ako nung nalaman ni Vincent [yung relasyon namin],” Claudia expresses. “I don’t know what Vincent is capable of.”
