Before the fourth season of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” comes to an end, let us look back to these seven crossovers between the icons and “YFSF” celebrity performers that brought extra fun to the stage as they interacted, bantered, and even sang duets.

Jason Dy with Erik Santos

Jason transformed into one of his closest friends, the Prince of Pop Erik Santos, and sang his hit“Pagbigyang Muli.” Later on, Erik himself surprised Jason by joining him onstage. “Okay na sana, okay nalahat. Pero nung sinabi niyang idol niya ako nung bata pa lang siya, parang medyo nakakatanda ‘yun,”Erik said, sending Jason into laughter. Later, both Jason and Erik were asked by host Jhong Hilario toconverse together as Erik, and the idea alone already made the judges chuckle, especially Judge GaryValenciano. When Erik noticed them, he immediately approached and said, “Tawang-tawa ang judgesnatin.”

Erik even noticed that the prosthetics placed on Jason to resemble his nose looked larger than his own.“Para ka lang nananalamin,” Jason said, and when he laughed just like Erik does, it sparked anotherround of laughter---this time from Erik himself. They also sang a duet of “Pagbigyang Muli” as ErikSantos. When Jason began singing, the resemblance to Erik’s vocals was uncanny, as he copied himperfectly. To cap off his visit, Erik gave a heartwarming message to Jason, assuring him that he was not atall offended by the impersonation.

“Sobra akong nag-enjoy,” he shared, adding that he usually does not watch his own performances and had initially felt nervous about how Jason would portray him. However, Jason gave him a fresh perspective of himself. Erik also expressed his support for Jason throughout his “YFSF” journey.

Alexa Ilacad with Sharon Cuneta

As soon as Alexa stepped out of the ‘iconator’ as Sharon Cuneta, the Megastar herself was all smiles---especially when Alexa sang her hit “Mr. DJ,” complete with Sharon’s signature teenage look. Despite feeling the pressure, Alexa considered it a great privilege to have transformed into Sharon Cuneta.

Sharon also joined Alexa onstage for a duet of “Mr. DJ.” The performance also served as a tribute to the Megastar, who was celebrating her birthday at the time. Later, Sharon shared her thoughts on Alexa’s performance, “Thank you for doing such a beautiful rendition of my most precious song,” she said, praising her warmly.

Sharon expressed her admiration for Alexa and praised how well she performed. “Thank you for doing this tonight,” Sharon said. Before their interaction ended, Alexa shared one of her life wishes, “It would be a dream of mine to become even just a tiny bit of who you are. You are an icon in your own right, and I hope you know that.” Her message melted Sharon’s heart.

Alexa Ilacad with Yeng Constantino

Alexa stunned viewers with her transformation into Yeng Constantino as she sang the hit “Chinito,” with Yeng herself watching from the audience. Throughout the performance, Yeng was clearly enjoying Alexa’s rendition---especially when her male lead from the music video, Enchong Dee, surprised Alexa by joining her onstage.

After the performance, Yeng was invited to join Alexa and Enchong onstage. She playfully joked aboutsomething she noticed when Enchong surprised Alexa---it was how Alexa firmly held his hand, sinceEnchong is also her showbiz crush. Yeng even added that Alexa and Enchong looked good togetheronstage. Jokes aside, the Pop Rock Royalty praised Alexa for her performance. “Napakahusay, napakaganda,” she said. She then gave a heartwarming message to Alexa, expressing how proud she was of her performance. “Alam ko na sobrang, grabe ang effort ni Alexa. I’m rooting for you, I’m proud of you,” she said. Alexa also had a message for the Pop Rock Royalty, “Ang laki ng ambag mo sa’kin as an artist, as a music lover. Siyempre, you’re someone I really look up to.” She added that if she decides to pursue music further, she would love to follow in Yeng’s footsteps.

JM Dela Cerna with Ogie Alcasid

JM Dela Cerna gave his own take on the song “Ikaw Sana,” transforming into Ogie Alcasid. After his performance, the OPM icon himself gave JM a standing ovation, clearly enjoying the rendition. When hosts Jhong and Vhong Navarro joined him onstage, JM bantered with them using one of Ogie’s funny lines, “May manager na ba kayo?”---sending Ogie into laughter.

When asked how he felt seeing JM onstage, Ogie joked, “Si Ogie ba ’yan? Ano nangyari?” Speaking to JM as himself, he added, “Ito tandaan mo ah, hindi ka na lalaki. Kahit anong gawin mo, wala. Pero eto maganda, pagkakaguluhan ka ng maraming babae.”

When it was his turn to comment on JM’s performance, Ogie said, “Nagaya na ako dito noon eh… pero ikaw lang yata ‘yung nakita kong mag-perform na kinilabutan ako. ‘Yung talent mo, ibang klase.” He expressed his gratitude to JM, who truly gave justice to his song.

Rufa Mae Quinto with Moira Dela Torre

Following her trending performance as Moira Dela Torre on “YFSF,” Rufa Mae Quinto graced the “ASAP”stage as Moira, this time joined by the OPM singer herself for an emotional vocal duet of “Paubaya,”complete with matching outfits. Moira could not contain her laughter as Rufa Mae sang, even attempting to belt out the same notes as her. The audience lauded and laughed along with them, and Rufa Mae capped the performance with a playful ending line, “Thanks to myself!”

After the performance, hosts Robi Domingo, Alexa Ilacad, and Erik Santos joined them on the “ASAP” stage. When Erik handed her flowers, Rufa Mae playfully sang to him, sending everyone into laughter. Rufa Mae, who is not often seen on “ASAP,” revealed that it was because of Moira that she agreed to return to the stage. “Sabi ko, kailan pa ba mangyayari na makaka-duet ko si Moira? Kahit ako pa magbayad,” she joked, and Moira warmly thanked her in return.

Moira was later asked how she felt finally getting to see “Rufa Moi,” and she shared that she felt very honored to share the stage with her. Then came a fun twist, Moira tried to mimic Rufa Mae by delivering her signature lines, “Go, go, go!” and “Todo Na ’To!”

Jarlo Base with Vhong Navarro

Taking a break from being a crooner, Jarlo Base transformed into the King of the Dancefloor (and “YFSF” host) Vhong Navarro, performing his iconic hit “Totoy Bibo.” As Jarlo started to groove like Vhong, the latter was already visibly delighted by his transformation, even dancing along with him during the performance.

After his number, Jarlo immediately greeted Vhong onstage. He shared that he really enjoyed the performance, saying it felt as though Vhong’s spirit had possessed him. Vhong admired how Jarlo simply played along with the song and carried it with confidence. He also expressed his gratitude for Jarlo’s performance, even joking that he was definitely winning the round.

“Na-proud ako sa’yo, pag gumagalaw ka para kang payat. Nakita ko ‘yung Vhong na galaw,” he said. To add more fun, all the Ka-Familiars joined them onstage and danced to “Totoy Bibo,” which the judges also found amusing.

Alexa Ilacad with Rufa Mae Quinto

This trending transformation of Alexa Ilacad into her fellow ka-Familiar Rufa Mae Quinto brought laughter and joy to viewers. Alexa performed the classic “Booba,” and not just that—her impersonation was even more spot-on as she dressed the way Rufa Mae did back then. The cherry on top was Alexa’s comedic flair, perfectly capturing Rufa Mae’s signature style.

Alexa received a standing ovation from the jury and from Rufa Mae herself, who was all smiles while watching her perform. Later on, Alexa shared an anecdote: during the audition, she hadn’t chosen Rufa Mae as the icon she would portray, but only tried to mimic her for a bit. Now, she was happy to have brought that impersonation to the “YFSF” stage.

With Rufa Mae joining her onstage, Alexa also revealed that she had helped her with the choreography of her number. For a fun interaction, both Alexa and Rufa Mae did a sample of the latter’s iconic lines, entertaining the audience. After this, Rufa Mae conveyed how grateful she was that even Alexa’s generation is still fond of her and her previous projects, and nostalgia definitely hit her while watching Alexa.

She also praised Alexa for being good at everything. “Magaling ’to si Alexa sa lahat ng bagay eh. Siya ang ka-close ko talaga,” she said, doting on her and finding warmth in Alexa’s presence.

These fun and iconic interactions are what complete “Your Face Sounds Familiar” every weekend. And now that another season is about to end, these moments have definitely added more excitement to the program—and they are something we will surely miss.
