2. The shocking news of Walter's death
Vincent arrives home in the morning and runs into Claudia, who questions him about coming home late. He stays silent, leading Claudia to assume he is still resentful over Walter being appointed head of Cabrera News. Vincent insists that wasn’t the only reason he stayed out, prompting Claudia to press him for more answers.
Before Vincent can respond, both he and Claudia receive separate phone calls informing them of Walter’s sudden passing. Claudia panics for a moment but quickly composes herself to avoid suspicions about her connection with Walter.
3. Claudia questions Vincent's innocence
The probe into Walter’s case continues to uncover evidence pointing to Vincent, while Claudia persists in directing her suspicions toward him. She grows increasingly frustrated as Vincent refuses to answer questions about his whereabouts on the night Walter died. Vincent, in turn, questions why Claudia is so affected by the situation, and she explains that Walter was not only a close friend but also an important figure in the company.
4. Vincent calls out Claudia's betrayal
Vincent confronts Claudia about her secret relationship with Walter, but she strongly denies his accusations, even calling Vincent delusional. “Sasabihin ko sa pulis lahat ng nalalaman ko. Para malaman ng lahat ng tao ang tungkol sa relasyon n’yo,” he threatens. Fear begins to creep across Claudia’s face, which Vincent notices. He points out that Claudia prioritizes her reputation over her family.
5. Marriage on the brink
Claudia informs Vincent that she has decided to follow Arthur’s (John Arcilla) orders to maintain a good public image alongside him, even as she forces him out of their home. She explains that she no longer feels safe living under the same roof as Vincent due to the allegations that he murdered Walter. Vincent asks to take Bea (Ayesha Bajeta) with him, but Claudia refuses.
6. Vincent and Stella embarrassed by Claudia
Stella (Kim Chiu) is invited by Claudia to a dinner with the Cabrera family, where both she and Vincent are humiliated in front of everyone. “Congratulations, Stella. Vincent is a perfect man—emotionally distant, a war freak. I endured that for many years,” Claudia reveals.

7. Vincent forces Claudia to face rehab
While Vincent and Stella break into Walter's house, they find Claudia sneaking inside to retrieve a stash of illegal drugs stored by Walter. Vincent immediately disposes of the pills, while Claudia cries and begs him to stop. Vincent asserts that he will send Claudia to a facility, but she opposes and reminds him how much it would affect their daughter.
8. Vincent endures Claudia's wrath
Vincent takes care of Claudia after she loses consciousness, and she later wishes for him to end up in prison. “You are a worthless son. A loser husband. And a terrible father,” she remarks, then walks away from him.
9. Claudia pleads with Vincent to rekindle their love
Vincent presents Claudia with evidence of her affair with Walter, declaring his intention to end their marriage immediately. Claudia pleads with him not to go through with it. “Hindi ko kayang wala ka. Hindi ko kayang mag-isa,” she cries desperately.
She confesses the pain she feels every time she sees Vincent with Stella, urging him to remove Stella from the picture so they can start over. However, Vincent refuses.
10. Vincent stands by his decision
Claudia and Vincent get into another heated argument, with Vincent reminding her how their child would feel about her buried past with Walter. Claudia denies Vincent’s claims. “Mahal na mahal ka ni Bea. Mawawasak siya kapag nalaman niya lahat ng pinaggagagawa mo,” Vincent states.
He adds, “Nagiging nanay ka lang kapag convenient sa’yo,” as Claudia cares more about the public’s perception than her marriage. Tears form in her eyes as Vincent feels relieved that he made the right decision to push through with their annulment, especially for Bea’s sake.
