Stella (Kim Chiu) asks Vincent (Paulo Avelino) to leave her alone in the April 16 episode of “The Alibi.”
Stella goes home after a long day of work at the bar, bidding her colleagues goodbye. As she tries to open her gum, Vincent immediately walks toward her to help, irritating Stella. Vincent tells her he just wants to explain everything that happened, but Stella shuts him off.
“Akala ko ba partners tayo dito? Bakit pakiramdam ko ako na lang mag-isa?” she asks, but Vincent reiterates that she should not have gone to the party. Offended by what he said, Stella asks him if he is trying to blame her for the mess. “Pagkatapos ng lahat ng nangyari sa’kin doon, kasalanan ko?”
Stella further conveys her pain to Vincent. “Kaya mo naman na sigurong mag-isa, hindi mo na ako kailangan. Hindi lang ako para sa sarili ko nabubuhay.” She adds that everything she does is for the sake of her siblings, who need her the most, more than Vincent. As Stella walks away, she tells Vincent about what she heard regarding Matthew (Rafael Rosell) and Claudia's (Sofia Andres) plans to tear them apart, and she decides to cut ties with him.
