Stella (Kim Chiu) refuses to accept Arthur's (John Arcilla) offer, which could affect Vincent (Paulo Avelino), in the March 30 episode of “The Alibi.”
After her performance onstage, a bodyguard approaches Stella and tells her that someone is waiting for her outside. Confused, Stella gets into a car where the supposed “someone” is waiting, only to discover that it is Arthur.
Stella asks about the purpose of his visit, even more so if Jacqueline (Zsa Zsa Padilla) knows about it, as she subtly insinuates that he wants to book her services. “Ibahin mo ’ko kay Vincent,” Arthur says, a sly smile forming on his face. “Tutal, ayaw mo rin lamang hiwalayan si Vincent, magtulungan na lang tayo para sa ikabubuti.” Stella asks further, “Bakit parang sa tono niyo ay mapapahamak pa siya?”
As she asks about his plans, Arthur proposes a second offer to Stella. “Name your price. Ipaalam mo sa’kin ang lahat ng ginagawa ni Vincent,” he reveals, with Stella searching for enough reason why she should do that. “Dahil gusto nating protektahan siya,” Arthur states, explaining that if ever Vincent does something that might hurt himself, they would be quick to help.
“Kinakabahan ako d’yan sa mga ‘name your price’ mo. Kaluluwa ko naman ata ang kapalit d’yan,” Stella responds, even starting to step out of the car. However, Arthur’s next words stop her, “Mukhang hindi mo yata ako kilala. Bihira ang tumatanggi sa akin.” But Stella remains firm with her decision. “Alam ko yung mga tipo niyo. Kaya nga hindi ako pumayag, diba?” to which Arthur finds amusing. “Nagsasabi lang ako ng totoo, ser. At gusto ko ring sabihin sa inyo na ang pamilya, pinoprotektahan. Hindi kinokontrol.” Stella leaves Arthur, hopping off his vehicle.
