After killing Crisanto (Gerald Madrid) for good, Edong (Jake Cuenca) dwells on the thought that his mother, Dolores (Jennica Garcia), might disown him for the atrocities he has committed out of the pain of being treated unjustly all his life.
With sorrow, Edong cries on his mother’s tomb, reassuring her that he isn’t the kind of monster like his father, who had abused and murdered her. Instead, his vengeance is necessary, as it is something only he can accomplish.
Edong then puts great emphasis on the fact that those who have wronged him, including Erica (Kaila Estrada), Beth (Charlie Dizon), Alice (Janella Salvador), and Mel (Sue Ramirez), are bound to be punished.
He recounts the pain of having his family destroyed and promises that he will fulfill his personal mission, something that he believes was destined for, which is why he was given a second chance at life.
Desperately, Edong clings to what little hope he has, hoping that one day Dolores will acknowledge that he was right all along. He then asks her to watch over his next schemes.
