From dancing with coconut shells, glasses, and wooden benches… to dancing with heartbreak—eviction night arrived after the "PBB Collab 2.0" housemates' 12th weekly task on Filipino folk dances.
The nominated housemates for eviction were Ashley Sarmiento, Heath Jornales, and John Clifford from the Kapuso group; and Fred Moser, Miguel Vergara, and Krystal Mejes from the Kapamilya bracket.
The housemates got emotional as host Bianca Gonzalez announced that Clifford and Fred were the evictees for Saturday, January 17.
Based on the final tally of votes shown, Clifford received 24.17% of the total public votes for the Kapuso side, followed by Ashley with 27.96%, and Heath with a clear lead at 47.87%. As for the Kapamilya division, Fred got 25.23% of the votes, followed by Miguel with 35.20%, while Krystal had the highest percentage at 39.57%.
Clifford, the Dutiful Langga ng Cebu, earned the admiration of both the public and his fellow housemates for his 'diskarte' or strategy during tasks, and for reminding everyone that courage also means taking accountability and owning up to one’s mistakes.
Meanwhile, Fred, known as the Courtside Charmer ng Albay, wasn’t afraid to be vulnerable during his stay in the Big Brother house. He showed heart not just in opening up about his feelings for Princess Aliyah, whom he admitted to liking in a romantic way, but also in the sincerity he offered while building friendships with the other housemates.
