The housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” were indeed filled with both joy and sadness as they welcomed back Eliza Borromeo after winning the Kapamilya Wildcard challenge against Rave Victoria, whom they had to bade farewell again.
But prior to letting the “Optimistic Apo ng Tarlac” leave the house, Kuya allowed one of the housemates to spend 100 seconds with him and they unanimously agreed that it should be none other than his special someone inside the house, Ashley Sarmiento. She wasn’t able to hide her kilig as she rushed back inside and approached a visibly crestfallen Rave, who was still reeling from his failure to reclaim his spot.
They shared a heartfelt hug, with Rave apologizing for not being able to celebrate her birthday with her. She cheerfully replied that simply seeing him again was already the best gift she could ask for. He then removed his bracelet and wore it on her wrist—much to her surprise and delight.
She requested him to joyfully greet her with a “happy birthday”, which he happily granted upon learning from her that they were only given 100 seconds together. He was also stunned to find out that she was nominated for this week!
The two embraced each other more tightly, with Rave even lifting her and swinging her around. Before heading to the confession room, he told Ashley that he would miss her again and affectionately called her “Optimistic Sweetheart”—a fusion of their PBB monikers—as he bade her goodbye.
Kapuso wildcards Marco Masa and Anton Vinzon were shocked to see him return to the room where they temporarily stayed for the night.
“Hindi ka man tuluyang nakabalik sa aking bahay, sana ay bitbitin mo ang lahat ng mga aral na napulot mo rito sa loob ng aking bahay dahil sa aking palagay, dito palang magsisimula ang kuwent ni Rave,” Kuya consoled Rave during their one-on-one conversation.
He added, “Ang totoong laban ay hindi naman dito sa loob ng bahay, kundi ito ay nasa labas. Kaya naman kung paano ka hindi sumuko dito sa loob ng bahay ko, huwag mo ring sukuan kung ano man ang mga hamon na darating sa’yo sa buhay mo sa labas ng aking bahay.”
