Although Joaquin Arce and Ashley Sarmiento had already talked regarding the misunderstanding that had suddenly arisen between them, Lella Ford was still not convinced that everything was truly resolved.
Thus, despite the objection of a couple of their housemates, she still decided to go ahead with her plan to confront Joaquin about the issue and his unpleasant demeanors. She thought that it was only her who could do it because she has known him for quite some time since they’ve been really close friends even before joining “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0”. Besides, they had agreed to call each other out whenever they noticed the other slipping into terrible behavior.
She opened to him the concerns of the other housemates about him, explicitly his aggressive way of approaching them and his tendency to take charge of the kitchen most of the time. But Lella focused on the latter, advising him to remain calm and composed even when others might disrespect him, as well as to not let his temper get the best of him. Joaquin seemed to have taken her words to heart, acknowledging that while he was only being authentic, he would strive to improve in that certain aspect of himself.
“I’m a bad friend if I don’t speak up, Kuya, and if manahimik lang po ako and walang gagawin about it,” she told Big Brother inside the confession room.
There was apparently no tinge of hard feelings between Joaquin and Lella as they gave each other a warm and reassuring embrace by the end of the conversation.
