Mia (Anne Curtis) wakes up in a good mood and smiles when she realizes she’s slept Satsat—the doll Patrick (Joshua Garcia) stitched back together after it was torn apart in her intense clash with Matmat (Carlo Aquino).
She sits at her dressing table and gazes in the mirror, clearly pleased with her beautiful reflection. But only for her morning to get clouded by haunting thoughts as she picks up her old comb and is reminded of her mother’s words: “You are my creation. Ako ang humubog sa’yo. My other self.” Mia shuts her eyes, pushing away the dark memories until Ingrid (Empress Schuck)’s image finally fades from her mind.
At the breakfast table, Patrick takes the middle ground as he urges peace between Mia and Matmat by asking his brother to apologize first. Mia stays quiet, stubborn at first, but just one look from Patrick prompts her to apologize back. Matmat decides to give Satsat fully to Mia, but on one firm condition—that it will be the last thing she’s ever allowed to take from him, as if saying that she can never take Patrick away.
