Mia (Anne Curtis) welcomes Matmat (Carlo Aquino) as he arrives at the mansion and notices the sudden drop in his mood, when earlier that morning he was still cheerful while eating with her and Patrick (Joshua Garcia) at Maravida’s Original. Concerned, she follows him to his room to ask if he’s okay and whether he plans to work in the library for her book. Matmat replies that he’s just tired and will continue tomorrow instead.

Matmat halts, his eyes fixed on Mia clutching Satsat—the doll Patrick sewed to guard him from nightmares but now entrusted to Mia for her own troubled nights. Mia explains that Patrick had already passed it on to her, but he protests, insisting that the doll belongs to him and Patrick alone, and that Satsat is their youngest sibling. Mia tries to steady herself, remembering her promise to Patrick earlier that day not to argue with Matmat, but the tension rises as he insists on taking the doll back, leading to a tug-of-war between them.

Their tugging builds until Mia pulls too forcefully, tearing Satsat apart. Upset, Matmat lashes out with a pillow until they begin trading blows in an all-out pillow fight.

Patrick returns home from work and hears the noise and shouting coming from upstairs. When he opens the door, he finds Mia and Matmat in the middle of the intense quarrel and steps in to break it up. The two, still bickering, refuse to let go until Patrick takes the torn Satsat from them. Mia pouts in defeat while Matmat retreats inside the cabinet, his usual hiding spot whenever he feels overwhelmed.
