While Roberto (Albert Martinez) goes on another rendezvous with his boyfriend (Johannes Rissler), who seems to still resent him for not going with him to the Paris Fashion Week and for always putting his family matters before him, the other members of the Guerrero family are already preoccupied by their last hurrah for the elections the following day.
Since Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) is already falling behind his stiffest rival, Tanggol (Coco Martin), based on the recently published surveys, the Guerreros have no choice but to resort to vote-buying to secure their win. This sparks another heated discussion between Miguelito and Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) regarding the latter’s decision to give most of their family’s properties away to his illegitimate family.
Jackie (Angel Aquino), on the other hand, confronts Roberto as soon as he arrives at the mansion for being absent again, while all of them are already busy preparing for the elections. She brings up once more what had happened the night before and rebukes him for letting his dad take advantage of him. Roberto claps back at her by reminding her he gave her the name, respect, and dignity that she revels in, so she doesn’t have the right to talk to him like that.
Red Phoenix then comes to the mansion to report to Roberto the latest developments regarding the mission that he has given them. Roberto gets mad upon hearing from group leader Angkong Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) that they failed as his daughter, Erika (Gillian Vicencio), and her kidnapper Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) were able to get away from them. As Roberto accosts him, Lucio promises that Red Phoenix will make up to him.
Miguelito arrives at the scene and recognizes the Red Phoenix, recalling that he had seen them with Santino, whom he mentions is the son of Police Officer Rigor Dimaguiba (John Estrada). This new information piques Roberto, for he’s confident that being an upright man and public servant Rigor is, he’s optimistic that he will be the one to personally seize and bring Santino to him once he relays to him the crime that his son has committed.
But Jackie immediately bursts his bubble by telling him that it may not happen because what if Fatima’s (Andrea Brillantes) shocking exposé regarding Miguelito’s real involvement in the murder of David (McCoy de Leon) during Team Tanggol’s miting de avance, already reaches him?
