After saving them from imminent death and bringing them to a safe place, Tanggol (Coco Martin) also handed the remaining members of the Benito family money, as he and his friends left in order to continue with the campaign.
Touched by his kindness even though they tried to abduct him before and put his and his group’s lives in danger; the family of Fatima (Andrea Brillantes) couldn’t help but tease her about finding a boyfriend or husband who is kind, generous, and brave like Tanggol. Her Uncle Nognog (Nonong Ballinan) even jokingly prodded her to court Tanggol, which she rejected since she knew that he doesn’t have at least an ounce of admiration for her.
It can be recalled that out of their immense desperation to earn money to bail her brother, Maki (Vince Rillon), out of prison after he was being forced to admit a crime he didn’t commit, the Benito family resorted on abducting Tanggol in exchange of a hefty ransom.
