Fiesta vibes filled the Saturday, August 16 episode of "It’s Showtime" as the stage burst with excitement for “The Fiestacular Finals” of “Escort Mo Show Mo” and “Breaking Muse.”
After a week-long finale, only three finalists remained in each category, representing their barangay with the kind of confidence and charisma that proved being “gwapo” or “maganda” goes beyond conventional appearances, showing that heart and talent speak louder than looks.
The final three gentlemen who faced off in the "Escort Mo Show Mo" Grand Finals were Mark Colanta of Brgy. San Juan, Cainta, Rizal; Daniel Butas of Brgy. Pasong Kawayan, General Trias, Cavite; and Kramim Beraquit of Brgy. Don Bosco, Parañaque City.
After parading in their kolong-kolong floats designed by their barangays, the competition opened with the talent showdown, judged by Board Members Anthony Jennings, Bianca Umali, Max Collins, Will Ashley, and Negi. Each finalist took the stage with leveled-up performances that showcased not only creativity but also personal expression.
Mark delivered a feel-good dance number themed around going places in search of someone special, set to the tune of “Hinahanap-Hanap Kita.” His act also highlighted some of the Philippines’ beautiful destinations before leading to a surprising twist that the person he was searching for was his 'twin.'
Daniel, meanwhile, used his skills in dancing and choreography to mount a piece that carried a meaningful narrative. With a dark theme at the start, he was joined by Kapamilya dance heartthrob Ken San Jose who represented the shadows that dragged him down, until he eventually found the light and rose again through his faith in God.
Kramim chose spoken word poetry for his performance, delivering heartfelt lines that touched on both the struggles and hopes of poverty-stricken dreamers. To make the piece more visual, he was backed by dancers portraying everyday workers striving to survive with dignity. His poetry also explored the duality of money as both help and hindrance, and for the finale, he burned the arch bearing his name, symbolizing the destruction of poverty and money’s evil side.
In the second half of the competition, the finalists drew the names of the Board Members who would ask them their respective questions.
Mark was the first to take the microphone, with hurado Anthony asking him, "Ano ang isang bagay na gusto mong maalala sa'yo ng mga tao pagkatapos ng kompetisyong ito?" He answered that he wants to be remembered as someone who never gives up, who always believes in himself, and who sees things through to the end. For him, as long as there is one person who believes in you, it’s enough to convince the whole world to believe in you too.
Daniel then followed, drawing the name of hurado Bianca, who first commended the meaningful message of his dance performance earlier. The question was, “Sino ka kapag nasa likod ka ng lahat ng ito at walang nanonood sa'yo?” to which he replied that behind the camera, he remains the same cheerful and optimistic person who holds firmly to his dreams and faith. "Lagi ko lang pinaninindigan kung ano 'yung mga positive na mayroon ako at maipapakita ko sa ibang tao," said Daniel. "Kailangan nating piliin ang positibong enerhiya, huwag ang negatibo dahil hindi 'yan ang magpapapaahon sa'yo sa buhay kundi ang positive mind, at syempre, focus sa goal ni Lord sa buhay mo."
Finally, Kramim was asked by hurado Will about the true meaning of being handsome. For Kramim, being 'gwapo' lies in being intelligent, hardworking, and persevering. Looks, he said, mean nothing when one is irresponsible, and added that a man can go much further in life with unwavering determination.
In the end, Daniel of Brgy. Pasong Kawayan 2, General Trias, Cavite emerged as the "Escort Mo Show Mo" grand winner with 95.6%, while Kramim placed second with 91% and Mark secured 89% from the combined judges’ scores.
Daniel took home ₱200,000, with an additional ₱50,000 awarded to his barangay.
