Mia (Anne Curtis) is pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food Patrick (Joshua Garcia) brings turns out to be, enjoying their dinner together in his house, which comes after he was compelled to bring her there because of the heavy rain.
When the meal ends and the downpour finally lets up, Patrick tells Mia that he will have her taken home. But her stubbornness shows as she refuses to leave and even clings tightly to the mattress laid out on the floor. The universe seems to be working in her favor, though, as Jason (Francis Magundayao) knocks on the door to invite Patrick for a drink.
Sensing an opportunity, Mia threatens to walk out and look for Matmat (Carlo Aquino) if Patrick insists on sending her away, telling him she will let his brother know she’s there, which she's certain will anger him. Patrick covers her mouth to silence her before stepping outside to face Jason, making an excuse that he is busy fixing a broken water pipe inside.
When he returns, Patrick realizes the door has been locked from the inside, which is Mia’s way to guarantee she’s staying for the night.
