As Patrick (Joshua Garcia) realizes that the reason he had seen Mia (Anne Curtis) walking alone in the middle of the road was because of how she's feeling over her violent encounter with her father Samuel (Michael De Mesa) at OK Hospital, he immediately starts searching for her.
Heavy rain pours and soaks him completely, yet he refuses to stop looking. In the middle of the storm, he finally finds Mia still walking. Finding comfort in his presence, she wraps her arms around him and in that unguarded moment, he embraces her back.
He brings her to the nearest motel he can think of, prompting a round of teasing and bickering. Mia finally convinces Patrick to stay with her, only for him to realize, funnily enough, that he has not brought his wallet with him.
Patrick plans to take Mia to the mansion where she stays, but she points out that the road going there would be difficult to pass through in this kind of heavy rain, so he was forced to bring her instead to his place. He sneaks her quietly inside, and it happens to be perfect timing as his sulking brother Matmat (Carlo Aquino) has chosen to stay at Nanay Li’s (Rio Locsin) house for the meantime.
