Olsen (Kyle Echarri) and Liam (Donny Pangilinan), with Wendy (Janice de Belen), Greta (Lorna Tolentino), and Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing) finally find themselves in the same place, and the long-awaited truth is about to unfold in the December 19 episode of “Roja.” With Greta by his side, Olsen reveals the truth to Magnus---leaving Wendy worried.
Olsen reveals that the estafa case should have jailed Greta, the true culprit. Liam confronts her, exposing how she paid Wendy one million pesos to take the fall. Wendy defends Greta, saying she needed the money for Olsen’s hospital bills and insists she agreed willingly, and convinces Liam that they both knew what they were getting into.
Magnus, already baffled by their lost money, asks Greta. She apologizes for her lies, admitting, “Hindi ako nakabayad---limas na ang pera natin dahil sa kamalasan sa sa sunod-sunod na maling investment.” Olsen interrupts, revealing that Greta manipulated Wendy to cover for her, knowing Wendy desperately needed the money at the time.
Liam asks if everything they heard is true. Greta replies, “Ayokong makulong, Liam… natakot ako, hindi ko alam kung ano ang gagawin ko. Kaya kinausap ko si Wendy… tumupad naman ako sa pangako ko sa kanya, binayaran ko siya ulit ng isang milyon.” Now enraged, Greta turns on Wendy, confused why it’s still an issue when she already fulfilled her promise to repay what Wendy sacrificed.
This leads Olsen to question Greta and Wendy’s friendship. “Ganyan po ba talaga ang tingin niyo sa nanay ko, Ma'am Greta? Akala ko magkaibigan kayo. Ganon po ba yung tingin niyo sa amin na babayaran lang?” he says, full of emotion. Greta insists that without her help back then, Olsen would not have survived.
Unhappy with how things were unfolding, Magnus urged Greta to apologize to Olsen and Wendy. But Greta refused, insisting, “Hindi ba sila ang dapat magpasalamat sa akin?” She then turned her frustration on Magnus, accusing him of siding with Wendy and Olsen over his own family.
Olsen looks back at Liam, fiery now that the truth has been proven.
