As they flee from Uno’s (Joel Torre) wrath---fueled by his growing madness over the Roja family---Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Olsen (Kyle Echarri) finally faces the truth about Wendy (Janice de Belen) and Greta's (Lorna Tolentino) darkest secret in the December 17 episode of “Roja.”
After exchanging gunfire with Uno’s armed men, Liam and Olsen’s group is forced to retreat back to the resort when they discover that no more speedboats are available as Doc Jessie (Robert Seña), Conney (Sandy Andolong), Nurse Claire (Rans Rifol), and Jules (AC Bonifacio) manage to escape.
Together with Luna (Maymay Entrata), Wendy (Janice de Belen), Chief Ben (Levi Ignacio), Ice (Kai Montinola), and Fin (Igi Boy Flores), Liam and Olsen search for another hiding place. Once they secure the area and ensure no goons are nearby, Olsen seizes the moment to confront Liam once again.
An argument between Liam and Olsen ensues, with Olsen blaming Liam for giving the speedboat key to others, causing them to be left alone on the island. Liam tries to defend himself, but Olsen keeps going, blurting out all the betrayals Liam committed that put them in danger---facing armed men, getting Wendy shot---and Olsen cannot help but mention the pain Liam's mother, Greta (Lorna Tolentino), has caused them. This enrages Liam, who tells Olsen not to mention his mother.
“Matagal nang damay yung nanay mo, Liam!” Olsen snaps, despite Wendy’s attempts to stop him. He continues, “Pina-ako ng nanay mo yung kaso niya sa nanay ko kapalit ng isang milyon! Sampung taon nawala sa ’min [yung nanay ko] dahil lang sa nanay mo!” Olsen reveals how Greta allegedly took advantage of their family’s desperation, using her money to manipulate Wendy and escape her crimes.
Liam is left stunned, unable to process the revelation.
With tensions rising and danger closing in, Liam and Olsen’s already fragile friendship faces its toughest test yet.
