The La Playa Roja siege is escalating into tensions in the November 28 episode of “Roja.” As Uno (Joel Torre) intensifies his orders and threatens everyone, guests begin to fear for their lives, and more secrets are about to unravel. Greta (Lorna Tolentino) looks back on her past, where she was involved in illegal financial activities---a secret she tries desperately to keep from Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing).
Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Olsen (Kyle Echarri) decide to lower their pride, working together to find strategies for survival as the siege unfolds.
Bravely roaming the now-empty resort, Liam keeps his gun poised, ready to shoot at any time. He walks cautiously and suddenly bumps into Olsen, both of them instinctively pointing their weapons at each other. The two continue searching different areas of the resort, guns in hand, making sure each section is clear.
Liam then informs Olsen that the thieves have taken control of the security room, which means they must now avoid all CCTV cameras. He adds that the guests and staff have been abducted, and that the thieves are heavily armed.
“Kailangang pag-isipan natin nang maigi ito. Wala tayong laban,” Liam says. Olsen resists, stressing that if they waste time planning their next move, it will take too long to save everyone. Liam counters that reckless people die quickly, but Olsen seems to take the remark personally. The two nearly break into another heated argument, but in the end, they lower their guards and agree to work together to save the others.
