True to his promise of helping Ponggay (Maris Racal) attain justice for the deaths of her father, Mauro (Richard Quan), and her stepmom, Linda (Aleck Bovick), Tanggol (Coco Martin) asked his friends and his father, Ramon (Christopher de Leon), to help him and Ponggay force Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) to ‘fess up about the wicked deeds of the Guerreros that he’s aware of and involved with.
This was after Ponggay told Tanggol that they needed to record a statement from Lucio narrating everything he knew about the Guerreros, which they could use as strong evidence against them. Thus, Tropang Tanggol immediately brought Lucio to them upon Tanggol’s instruction, with Ponggay coercing him to tell nothing but the truth as she recorded her confession through her phone.
Lucio was initially reluctant, as Tanggol might shoot him dead once they got what they needed from them. But Tanggol told Lucio that he might be triggered to do so if he would opt not to cooperate with them, which compelled the latter to finally begin speaking up about the bad acts of the Guerreros.
He started by admitting that he’s a lackey of the Guerreros, specifically of Roberto (Albert Martinez). He then recounted being directed by Roberto to blow up the miting de avance of Tanggol and his team by detonating a bomb, which killed a number of people, as well as to manipulate the results of the elections with the help of a hacker, who they killed and buried in a vacant lot along with the SD cards afterwards.
Hearing these absolutely infuriated Tanggol and prompted him to tackle Lucio, who reminded him of his promise not to finish him off.
