Just as Mauro (Richard Quan) firmly expressed his willingness to support his daughter, Ponggay (Maris Racal), in her fight against the Guerreros by pledging to testify against them, the Red Phoenix Group led by Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) suddenly riddled the Garcia residence with bullets.
It was after Kidlat (Smugglaz) and Teban (Bassilyo) caught Mauro taking videos inside the room where Enrique Espinelli (Art Acuña), an ally and business partner of Roberto (Albert Martinez), kept the packs of illegal drugs and bundles of cash used during their last transaction, which made them suspect that he might be spying on them. Thus, they secretly followed him until he arrived at their home.
Fortunately, Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his friends were there as he spoke with Ponggay (Maris Racal) regarding their mission. An intense shootout erupted between the two parties, with the Red Phoenix being accompanied by Enrique, while Tropang Tanggol and Chona (Via Antonio) helped Ponggay save her family.
Tropang Tanggol managed to kill all members of the Tondo Gang, while Ponggay lost her stepmom, Linda (Aleck Bovick), and her father, Mauro, during the nail-biting and bloody skirmish.
As Ponggay already ran out of bullets during her face-off with Lucio, Tanggol immediately came to her rescue and threw his extra gun at her. In their back-to-back fight against the enemies, Ponggay was able to gun down Lucio, while Tanggol fatally shot Espinelli.
Lucio pleadeded Ponggay and Tanggol not to kill him yet as he vowed to cooperate with them and tell them everything he knew about the Guerreros. While Ponggay was really keen on putting him to death, Lucio reminded her that she wasn’t allowed to do so because she’s a police officer. Thus, Tanggol simply struck Lucio with his gun multiple times and told his friends to bring him with them to their hideout as they heard police cars approaching the area.
