While he was discussing business and eventually closing the deal with his new business partner, Enrique Espinelli (Art Acuña), little did Roberto (Albert Martinez) know that the Montenegros were already talking about their revenge plan against the Guerreros amid their mini celebration for the success of their group in rescuing on Julio (Tommy Abuel) and Franco (John Medina) from the Quiapo Police.
Tanggol related to Don Julio that his Tindeng (Charo Santos) and their allies discovered that results of the mayoralty position were actually rigged. Thus, they will file a case in order for their request to have a recount be granted. Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo) chimed in to add that their team was able to gather several witnesses who were willing to testify, which made Don Julio utter his signature line, “beri gud” (or very good).
However, since the Guerreros are powerful, Ramon (Christopher de Leon) reminded his father that this is going to be a long and difficult process, without certainty that the outcome will be favorable to them. As the old man asked what they could for now, Tanggol told him that they cannot challenge their rival family yet at the moment since their group is still weak and unprepared.
As Ramon argued that their inaction would only allow the Guerreros to recharge and regain power, Tanggol told him that forcing themselves to get into the battle despite the condition will definitely put their lives in danger. Since that’s the case, Don Julio came up with the idea of fighting them furtively, to which Tanggol agreed by seeking the help of their allies in the city hall in keeping an eye on the Guerreros.
Once they’re able to take hold of power, Ramon vowed not just to make the Guerreros pay but to also fulfill his promise to Tanggol of helping him make things right, especially in Manila. Tanggol somehow seconded it by saying that the Guerreros should now make the most of their time on top because he will make sure that the Montenegros will rise from the ashes and crush or defeat them.
