From having different perspectives, the Montenegro family now shares a common goal—to eradicate and fight drugs in Manila. And that’s all thanks to the realizations that Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) had while he was still inside the jail—an experience that completely changed his mindset towards life.
While their main purpose of running an illegal drug business was for them to easily gain fortune, fame, and power, the old man realized that those were actually not important as long as they have their family and other loved ones by their sides.
Thus, in order for him to keep up with the time they’d lost in arguing and fighting with each other due to the differences in their perspectives, Don Julio promised to support Tanggol in every decision that he’s going to make. He asked Tanggol to help their family get up from the hands of the Guerrero, to which the latter replied by saying that he wouldn’t let their rival family bring them down nor stop them in their tracks.
Ramon (Christopher de Leon) chimed in to share that he actually had the same realizations as Don Julio while being abducted by the Red Phoenix. He thought that maybe his unico hijo had been right all along, that they’d been indeed treading on the wrong path, which delighted Tanggol so much since their family is now united and on the same page.
