Hurt by how Rigor (John Estrada) scolded and embarrassed her in front of their comrades after Hector (Aljur Abrenica) blamed her for their team’s failure to transfer Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) and Franco (John Medina) to the city jail and to seize Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his group during their encounter, Ponggay (Maris Racal) couldn’t help but turn emotional.
She imparted to Chona (Via Antonio) how disappointed she is of herself for allowing someone like Tanggol to tarnish her reputation and put everything she worked hard for to waste after she had sudden second thoughts on shooting him down. It also frustrated her that in spite of losing almost everything in life, Tanggol still has the unbelievable ability to ruin other people’s lives, just like hers.
Thus, more than ever, Ponggay was determined to bring the Montenegros down, which seemed to have bothered and startled Chona, as it could mean that she was already planning to do something really dangerous.
